Why We Make Mistakes: How We Look Without Seeing, Forget Things in Seconds, and Are All Pretty Sure We Are Way Above Average

April 18, 2010 – Author is Joseph T. Hallinan. A really terrific book that addresses why we routinely make mistakes. It’s extremely well researched and it’s a very engaging book to read. Some of the root causes for our mistake inducing behaviors are remarkably simple. It helps to understand what effects our judgment in order to move forward in correcting behaviors that lead to mistakes. For me personally, lack of adequate sleep and multi-tasking are two big culprits!
