Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies

May 18, 2010 –  Author is Jared Diamond. This is an excellent book that traces the many factors that affected the disparate evolutions of civilizations throughout the world. Those factors are not always obvious. Understanding how societies evolved is very illuminating in understanding the behavior and evolution of current cultures, countries, communities and even companies. Great read! I can see why it is used as a text book in some curricula.
