The 21st Century Economy–A Beginner’s Guide

June 5, 2010 – Author is Randy Charles Epping. I thought the book was excellent. The title sounds a bit academic, but it’s quite engaging and interesting to read. It’s all the terms we are bombarded with in the media explained in terms any layperson can understand. It’s not just a dictionary, however, Epping tells stories, gives examples and pieces all of these concepts together to explain how our global economy really works. He wraps up the book with a look at how issues of immigration, the environment and diseases are affecting world economies and will continue to do so in the future. It was time well invested for me.
