It is one man’s journey to change the world one school at a time. The book comes alive with the people, relationships, places and events that have shaped Greg Mortenson’s life in Pakistan & Afghanistan bringing education to that region’s poorest children. His goal is to fight the war on terrorism with education. One of the last chapters is entitled “Ignorance is the Enemy.” So true. A very inspiring read!
